If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away---Henry David Thoreau

All Praise to Our Redeemer: an Easter Hymn by Leo Hartshorn
All praise to our Redeemer, who rose up from the dead
The Church's risen Savior and our exalted Head
Now death and hell are vanquished, while heaven and earth embrace
And angel choirs give voice and sing of God's abundant grace
This is the day which God has made; Let all rejoice and sing
For death has fled and hope springs forth in every living thing
In flowering plant and budding tree the whole earth testifies
Of God's great power to bring new life and cause our Lord to rise
Lift high the royal banners and strike the harp and drum
Pray for the day when peace will rule and God's kingdom shall come
The Risen Christ who came to earth will come at last to reign
And once again new life will rise upon the earth again
